P2P trading on a crypto exchange is a marketplace where users buy and sell crypto directly from each other, while the exchange guarantees the deal by temporarily locking the seller’s crypto (escrow).

In plain words

The buyer chooses an offer, sends hryvnia to the seller’s payment details and clicks “Paid”; the seller checks the incoming payment and releases the locked crypto. In disputes the exchange arbitrates. The risks: payment from someone else’s account or “dirty” money, the bank blocking a card for suspicious transfers (financial monitoring), and fraudsters with forged receipts. The rules: pay only from your own account, stay inside the exchange chat, do not release crypto until the money has really arrived, and check the counterparty’s rating.

Example. You buy 100 USDT: the exchange locks them on the seller’s side, you transfer hryvnia to the given details and click “Paid”. The seller checks the credit and confirms, and the USDT arrive in your account.

Word of the dayInflationBasic

Inflation is a sustained rise in the general level of prices, so that money buys fewer goods and services than before.

Example. Prices rose 10% over the year and your deposit earned 8%: formally you earned something, but you can buy a little less with that money than last year (108 against 110, illustrative numbers).
